The 2024 Genesis G80 offers a sophisticated combination of two newly developed turbo engines and an all-new platform to deliver exceptional power and driving stability. The Genesis G80’s 2.5L turbo gasoline engine delivers 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque, and with improved cooling and injection systems, this engine provides optimal performance and efficiency in varying conditions. Rated for 375 max hp and 391 lb-ft of max torque, the 3.5L turbo gasoline engine’s center fuel injection features increased combustion speed to allow for improved safety and fuel economy.
For 2024, the G80’s new Sport+ mode offers maximized acceleration and responsive shifting when downshifting. On G80 Sport Plus, the rear wheel steering system actively controls the rear wheels depending on driving conditions to enhance stability. During low-speed driving, the rear wheels rotate 3.5 degrees in the opposite direction to the front wheels to make steering easier and smoother; and during cornering at mid or high-range RPMs, the rotation of the rear wheels can be controlled to rotate no more than 2 degrees in the direction as the front wheels for less slip and added safety.
